This is simply a preview period to help CMS identify any potential issues with performance scores before it calculates payment adjustments. EDPMA will alert its membership when performance adjustment amounts are available, and when CMS releases more specific instructions regarding who to contact. In regard to the “bonus pool methodology,” if you are referring to the “exceptional performance” bonus pool, the 2022 performance year was the last year to qualify for that bonus. Starting with the 2023 performance year, that extra pool of funding is no longer available.
