The new webpage Network adequacy standards waivers includes waiver resources, hearing details, and information about decisions.

TDI will hold virtual public hearings on insurers’ requests for waivers from network adequacy standards. The public can speak at the hearings or submit written information about a waiver request for TDI’s consideration.

TDI also made a information video on this new information and process. Watch Here.

This bill includes network adequacy requirements for emergency physicians which will hopefully push health plans to negotiate in good faith. In addition, the bill prohibits health plans from changing reimbursement or adding administrative burdens onto provider during the course of a contract. Great win for providers.đŸ˜€
