  Join The Cost Sharing Task Force:
  The EDPMA Patient Cost Sharing Task Force will evaluate solutions to improve the collections of the patient’s cost share. One study has demonstrated that emergency physicians collect less than half of the patient cost share. Many organizations including the AMA and ACEP believe that it should not be the responsibility of physicians to collect the patient’s cost share. The task force will be led by Dr. Bing Pao.

  Time Commitment: anticipate about two to three 60-minute virtual meetings in the next 3-6 months coupled with discussion on EMpowered in between meetings.
